Making a decision of what Private Label sellers to reach out to on Amazon can be tricky, especially since you want to know what they actually are before contacting them. Luckily, SmartScout is here to help you find a list of prospects that fit your specifications.
To Start, open our Sellers tab. You’ll want to filter for sellers that have at least one full brand coverage, since that will eliminate resellers that just have their hand in several different brands. Filtering for brand selling can also help you customize the scale of purchase.
You’ll also want to make sure that the revenue estimates are what you’re looking for. Lastly, it’s a good idea to look at the Country header and filter out any areas that you want to avoid.
When looking for resellers on Amazon, you have two main goals.
The first is to find sellers that actually fit the description of a reseller. The second is to make sure that they’re just what you’re looking for within that distinction, whether that be profit, fulfillment, or more.
Regardless, SmartScout is here to help.
To get started, open up the Sellers tab. You’ll want to start out by filtering for a revenue range that aligns with what you have in mind. Once that’s done, you’ll want to filter our any full brand coverage, then start customizing with Percent FBA and location filters like Country.
Amazon is a very competitive market. Sometimes it reflects demand outside of Amazon if a brand has a global presence. Sometimes it’s dependent on who has successfully marketed their products with things such as great images, reviews, and organic placements.
Since it’s so active, brands are either growing or shrinking. We have columns built into the brands tool that can help you understand which direction a brand is headed.
We have a 1 month growth and a 12 month growth column.
It can be useful to know where a brand once was. We have built a whole suite of tools for this as a part of our enterprise plans called Scope.

When looking for a Private Label brand to start a relationship with, making sure you don’t reach out to the wrong person is crucial.
Luckily, SmartScout is here to ensure that you know just what you do and don’t want.
Using our Sellers tab, start filtering for Full Brand Coverage (a range of about 1 to 3) and Number of Brands Selling (capped at about 5 to eliminate wholesalers). You can also filter to focus on sellers in a specific country or state, if you’re looking to be location-specific.
Once there, you can click on the magnifying glass icon and select Brand Coverage to check and see if this is a brand that sells themselves and if you want to reach out to them.
